I've 34ICH fitted on my S2A (2,25) without any modifications. Only vacuum pipe on opposite side. Result: much better than Zenith!

I had one on a series II, ages ago - which was infintely better than the shagged Solex it came with. Never actually had a Zenith one, although if the carb's in decent nick I'd expect it to work OK.
