Chrysler Neon Immobiliser

Help!! My son inlaw has a R reg Chrysler Neon. The the key fob immoboliser has ceased to function. I have tried several local dealers to get a replacement. I have been told that there is a shortage of this product. Does anyone know if this device can be 'over ridden' in order to get the vehicle going? Thanks

replacement.

Have you tried any car alarm firms or installers? They might know of a 'hack'. Alternatively speak to the AA or RAC as they too might be able to help. One final (but certain!) way is to have aword with the local 'herberts' at your local pub. Offer cash and they might know how to work around it.

JB.

JB ( snipped-for-privacy@news.net) gurgled happily, sounding much like they were saying :

Wouldn't be much of an immobiliser if it could be easily over-ridden...

First you'd have to find one willing to own up to having nicked a Neon, ffs... I mean - it's hardly desirable... Even car thieves have standards.
