Clutch cable gives a squeeky sound every time the clutch is depressed. Its a Corolla, early T3 model 2002. Does anyone know from experience where a squirt of oil might fix this rather than a likely big job of having to renew the cable?
Clutch cable squeek

More likely to be the pedal pivot than the cable I'd say. Get up under the dash with a can of WD40.

Yep most clutch cables are plastic (Teflon) lined. If you can hear the squeak then its most likely within the car and the movable joints around the pedal need some lubrication.
