Hi All,
If I treat the local speed bumps with contempt and go over them at about 20, the Corsa often jumps out of gear.
Also I have noticed that when driving on a slightly bumpy road the gear lever moves back and forth a lot.
Is this normal behaviour for this make/model, or does it indicate something is broken or coming unscrewed?
Check the engine mounts. One or more might need replacing. Mike.

these suffer from a dodgy gear linkage, there is a modified better made lump to replace it, from Vauxhall about 40 quid.

No wonder. Have you seen the horribly unnecessary complexity of it??
yep and changed a few, massive improvement after though. the ball joints are the wrong way on the original
