Got annything to support that, allthe studies said the opposite, it was ceased due to it being politically unacceptable in Scotland.

The natural timezone is the one where the sun is at its highest point at noon. For convenience the world is split into timezones which are 1 hour apart each containing the locations where the natural noon is up to 30 mins either side of that in the zone centre (Greenwich in the case of UK). So most of Western Europe's natural timezone is GMT.

Those are actual timezones, not natural ones.
