So the warning light for the little orange engine/gearbox EML came on and it was going in for a service anyway.
VAG called and said they had fixed the light warning by replacing 'the secondary cooling pump.
As the temperature gauge was spot on how did the EML come on due to that?
(Thingamajig was replaced under warranty)
This must be a later TDI or a TSI - both of which have an aux electric cooling pump . In the case of the latter its used to circulate coolant around the turbo after shut down.
