Engine Management Books

Hi,

I've been looking for a book that covers my Cavalier V6's engine management system etc. I've found this book for sale on the web:

Does anyone have it already? If so, is it worth buying, or is there a better alternative?

Thanks,

Iain

The Haynes one isn't bad - much better than their individual manuals.

I quite agree. The book can be found at:

One of the motronic sections will suffice for diagnosing faults on your car - the Motronic 2.8 is very similar to the 2.5 system, just with extra injectors and another coil pack.

Manual starts off with the basics of how the systems work, then goes on to explain relevant diagnostic procedures.

It doesn't appear to list the Cav V6, but just about every other Vauxhall including V6s.

But the vast majority of faults can be found from the basics of all EFI systems.
