I have an '04 Fiesta Zetec, when I bought it I orginally wanted the heated windscreen option but it would have been three months wait for my car, so I didn't get it. However I'm now beginning to regret that as the winter draws in. Does anyone know if it is possible to have a heated windscreen fitted to a car which currently does not have one?I suspect it would be quite a bit more than the orginal £200 asking price, if it is actually possible at all.Thanks!

I feel an insurance claim coming on. Presumably the 50quid excess also covers the heated screens.Will

Looking in my haynes manual I can only see a relay connected to the output of an alternator, there seems to be no timer circuit. It seems simple enough to do myself, although i'm a little concerned as people seem to think that the relay upps the REVS and has a timer so that it switches off after 4 minutes.. According to haynes manaul, it has neither of these.
