Poor bloody cat. Just let the vet fix him like everyone else :-)

bear in mind the old cat is worth 40 quid at a scrap buying place, so it might be simplest and best to just change it.

The pipe part of the catalitic converter has broken off just after the fluted bit near the start, ie. nowhere near the actual catalist, but with enough angles to stop you just putting a cylinder of metal around it.



It seems to cost over 100 GBP [1], presumably because of the actual catalist. Is there any way to do this cheaper?



This is a 2001 vectra 2.2 hatchback.
