Ford Galaxy - Engine malfunction warning

Nov 17, 2014 5 Replies

Comes on every time you exceed 60 mph. Stop engine and its gone until next time.

No other symptoms.

Got a code reader. No faults found.

Any ideas?

Only thing which may be related? Had car services and they didnt turn off oil service warning.....

Possibly egr valve, blocked cat. Wait for it to develop a bit.

press and hold the trip meter knob, turn ign on, wait for service to go off, turn ign off.

Push button ignition and no trip meter knob.

it helps if you mention the year of the vehicle.

close all doors, switch ign on press and hold brake and acellerator for at least 15 seconds keep them pressed, press the ok button on the wheel, service light goes out when reset complete, release pedals, ign off.

Reset but stil the same. Left message on and plugged in OBDII - still no codes.
