Ford losing the plot

"Dieseldes" gurgled happily, sounding much like they were saying:

Yeh, I'm surprised. I'd have expected a LOT more.

Me too. £200 per headlight, personally.

Same here, service parts are OK price wise but body parts open your eyes a bit!! My cam belts (genuine make but from an independent were 8.50 each) oil filter genuine or better spec was about 6 quid. A windscreen was 1100 quid last time I looked and an exhaust box a 1000.

Conor gurgled happily, sounding much like they were saying:

Thinking about it, an '84 Ferrari would be a 308, Mondial, 400 or Testiclerossa. All with pop-up lights, almost certainly all using generic round reflectors.

Using that model, the fuel tank would be sealed for life with a built-in filter, pump amd injectors, and a replacement would cost about £5000...

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold. I remember asahartz saying something like:

I'm sure it'll happen soon. We'll have Ford Genuine Fuel and aftermarket Derek's Dodgy Diesel Refills (with mileage resetting chip).

Added to the above, I believe Ford are INCREASING the new car prices from the 2nd February, some by as much as 8%. Surely in this financial environment this is commercial folly?

Nope, cos then their dealers can put up signs advertising "bigger" discounts.
