My friend recently bought a Renault Grand Scenic from a dealer.
Having done the deal, the dealer then said to them something to the effect of...
"We recommend that once a month you do an hour's run at 60mph to blow through the [something or other] filter through, otherwise you could end up having to bring it in for service sooner than you otherwise would have done".
Goodness only knows what it was exactly that he was going on about, and my friend can't tell me exactly what it was that would allegedly suffer if they didn't do this.
Anyway, does anyone have any specific idea as to what this might be ? Is this a known 'quirk' with Grand Scenics ? (...or maybe a known quirk with dealers!)
Thanks
Jeff
