hmmm .... maybe a worn belt ? possibly and alternator belt, that makes a noise like that kinda squeal groaning sound.
pop the bonet open and see if you can hear and pin point where the sound is coming from.

Your battery is probably on it's last legs and the alternator is groaning under the strain of trying to charge it, it could also be a lot of other things!.
