That looks similar (though with only four cylinders) to a Revell "Visible V8" plastic model kit I built about 30 years ago. The first time I turned it over with the batteries, the crankshaft broke.

They're fun to build, but once finished you won't quite know what to do with it (especially if it breaks on it's first "run" like mine did) and it'll sit on a shelf somewhere gathering dust. Mine has long since been buried in a landfill site somewhere.

Excellent as an educational tool, perhaps.
