Icing on inside windscreen?

Well it won't hurt & it will be filthy by now.

Has the interior become damp from repeatedly getting into the car with wet clothes on? It happens to my wife's Mondeo after a period of wet weather. Leaving a dehumidifier running in the car for a few hours makes a big difference.

Will give that a try. I suspect its that or a seal has gone as in damp weather it does tend to mist up pretty bad. I think she leaves the heater dial on the windscreen setting but having a read about some suggest pointing the settings to the floor when parked up - will tell her try that.

If its not used very often moisture bill be absorbed by the fabrics within the car lifting the general humidity

Yeah it only does about 3k miles p/a pottering about so that won't help. I'll do the pollen filter anyway as that's the only thing never changed during service. Read they can absorb moisture like a sponge & eventually starts dripping the collected water. My old 97 AstraVan is fantastic and hardly ever steams up.

Stick some silica gell in the car that might help

Does it have air con? Run it on max fan, max heat, recirc. Moves water in car to under car.
