There's a good place in Widnes, C & T Garage Ditton Road Widnes Cheshire WA8

0PJ Tel: 01514 244488.

If it's to do with Hyperactive Suspension, Westune (I think) In Manchester are legends.

That's who I was about to suggest! Use them all the time, looked after my Xantia for the last ten years, never had any problems.

Thanks for the info gents. I am considering buying a 406 or xantia XDI, but wanted know that there was someone handy who understood their foibles. Ken.

May be a silly question, seeing as his email is "mrcitroen" - but does he do Peugeots too?

Same company so most of the compnents are the same

Handy to know - especially as the local Peugeot dealership seems to do everything possible to prevent you from talking to their mechanics unless you actually book a car in with them (which I can kind of understand, but when it's just a quick query it's somewhat annoying!)

Westroen.

That's them..

Very good, I've used them a few times. They can't do a fluid change on an XM though as it doesn't fit down the side of the building into the workshop - they did my spheres on the drive outside.

Thought you said yours could do with new spheres???

Still tempted, btw.

For XMs, I am far worse than Adrian. I'm on my 4th now... Had 3 Xantias too :-)

There's also Malc, at Peugeot-Citroen specialists in Altham, nr Accrington who is very good. If you can be bothered to travel a bit further, M&M in Holmfirth (Last of the Summer Wine village) are also very good.
