Have you considered torching this thing and claiming on the insurance?
Seriously though, a Ford rear section will cost around £95. A decent aftermarket one (Bosal, Timax etc) should cost about £40.
Thanks guy`s had a new back box fitted at formula 1 centre (£45) Also they did the wheel allingment for £15
Thanks again

Are they any good at it? Some places seem to make a better job than others IME. Need mine doing and that's £7 cheaper than National, but they get it spot on.
Yes did an excellent job, ring them up get a price, they take your name, then when you turn up give them one of these vouchers

Is there anyone here that knows the trade price of exhaust parts for a Ford Ka ? The reason I ask is that my girlfriends Ka need the middle and back sections replacing on her car so I drove round some of the local garages asking for quotes. This is what I got ...
Charlie Browns £164.30 (Said they would price match) Kwik Fit £164.00 (Said they would beat any other quote if I came back) ATS £160.00 (£181 originally but offered this after) F1 Auto Centre £100.00 (without mentioning above prices !!!)
All had 2 year guarantees and price included fitting. Had the F1 exhaust bits fitted and have had no problems in the few weeks they've been on.
Are the top three making a huge profit on the unsuspecting motorist or are F1 Auto making a loss? The difference is amazing. This would be intersting to know next time I need new bits for mine or the girlfriends car.
Cheers
Andy
