Leather upholstery cleaner/conditioner recommendations?

I want to freshen up my leather seats with a clean and more importantly some conditioning to restore suppleness and avoid cracking. I've seen Autoglym and Connolly products recommended on other forums (BMW, SAAB), and even Halfords own brand. Any advice from you guys?

Thanks, Tim.

Autoglym. As used by Jaguar, Aston Martin, The Prince Of Wales and The Queen Mother. erm...

IMHO Connolly every time. Used properly and as per directions it will maintain leather upholstery for years, but it can't put back what has already gone.

Wrong!, the Queen Mother used Oil Of Ulay. If she -had- used Autoglym, maybe she wouldn't have wrinkled and cracked quite so badly. . . . . . . Oh, sorry. You were referring to the upholstery in the car, not the face....

Thanks for the replies, chaps. This is going on my birthday list so I just wanted to be able to "help" with the ideas.

They can be cleaned using toilet soap and a face flannel - exactly the same as your skin, but keep it fairly dry. Stubborn stains might need a nail brush. Then feed with hide food. There are specialist products that 'melt' the finish to try and hide ;-) marks, but try the simple way first.
