Quick question,what are the regulations on the colour of lights on cars?My son is persistently stopped for having the lights that fit over screen washer nozzles,they are only tiny but do phase through different colours including blue,I suspect the blue does make them illegal but would be interested to here particularly from any mot testers.TIAIvor

Ive seen lots of cars running around with these lights over the washer nozzles and to be honest if they were white one would have a case but blue lights are illegal.

Best would be for you and your son or just you to visit a police station, tell them the story and ask them to give you a written statement.
