Loose air duct on Fiesta 1.3 endura - what parts should I buy?

My 1998 Fiesta (1.3 Endura petrol engine) has been producing more engine noise than usual at some engine speeds. I've had a look under the bonnet, and there seems to be an air duct (I think) that runs from the air filter enclosure to a smaller kind of filter assembly directly above the radiator.

The air duct is flapping around loosely, because the foam washer that fits between the duct and the spigot at the top of the radiator has fallen to pieces. Would this account for the noise? Can anyone tell me what specific parts I should ask for at my friendly local Ford parts desk? Is it just a new foam washer I need, or is there something else that holds the duct in place that has fallen off?

Here are some pictures:

A "leaking" air intake would cause a rushing type noise. It wouldn't really cause the engine noise to be any different.

If you go to your local ford garage and explain as clearly as you have here, they will get the details from your registration number on the computer. Then they will show you the part and possibly even look under the bonnet for you. That will ensure you get the right parts which will be relatively cheap. I can't tell from that whether it's just a washer or part of it has broken. The bit you're looking at could possibly be a resonator, it "tunes out" specific frequencies and makes the air intake noise quieter. Most cars have them.
