Mondeo TD Timing Belt

Anyone point me to a quick guide for changing it, there appears to be an injector pump involved. Is it as simple as lock pulleys, remove belts, fit new timing belt, tension and re-time pump?

Cheers Matt

Not too bad. There is 2 belts....replace BOTH Also replace tensioner and idler pulleys on cambelt......Part # 7330712 &

1005828/3....REGARDLESS OF CONDITION. Also if the bolt holding on the tensioner is a large torx type then replace it with the 13mm head type ... 6200028 i think. The cam, crank and injector pump all lock with pins..... you can use 8mm drill bits for this. Slacken the 4x10mm bolts on the cam sprocket when you have all pinned to release pressure on the belt. Also.... only replace the belts when engine is completely cold.
