Took it out of 18 month storage, fitted battery, filled with diesel, cranked, started, then MOTd.
Whence it passed with flying colours and the lowest emmissions I've ever seen. Bloody love the E34 I do.
Anyone got any idea's on if it's worth stripping off the driveshaft UJ boots and regreasing? It's on 20 year old grease in there now....
Also, what do people think on a 7500 mile change for the oil? It tells me it wants changing every 5000 or so but that's assuming you are fitting dino mineral oil that was all there was in the late 1980's....
Ditto the same thing about coolant - what's the modern day recommendations? It's got in some generic stuff called Prestone if the empy can in the boot was anyhting to go buy when I bought it....
