oil pressure transducer

About a month ago, i was searching the net for an oil pressure sender T piece (the type to fit a gauges transducer as well as the idiot light switch into the single hole on the block), i waws searching for a M14 x 1.5 threaded T piece with a 1/8 npt take off for the gauges sensor, and while searcning for that, i came accross a couple of web sites that sold them as well as new oil pressure transducers,

They sold 2 types tho, one was the old type which is a large bell shapd object, about 2 or 3 inches tall and 1.5 inches wide, this type has a set of bellows in it and a resistance card and wiper, not that accurate and very large,

But there was a new type that was a lot smaller, about the size of a reversing light switch, it was said to be a lot more accurate, and used something else instead of a resistance wire and wiper.. could have been ceramic but i can't remember, the new type was about 30 or more quid, where as the old type can be got for around a tenner if you shop about.

Well yesterday while fitting the new T piece to get rid of all the adaptor bushes i had to use, i broke the oil pressure transducer i have.. the old style bell shaped one, i was kind of happy when it broke as the thin site very close to the alternators main terminal, and if vibration moved the T piece a few mm it would touch the terminal :(

So, off searching the net i went, to buy one of the new smaller oil pressure transducers, and as usual.. can't find the buggers,

Has anyone heard of the thing i'm talking about? and if so, can you point me to a site which sells them in the uk?
