Hi, Trying to replace the dash lamps in the climate control of an Omega.I've released the climate control panel from the facia but can't reach the offending lamps as the wiring harness is holding it back. Haynes drops a gem by saying " move the locking bar to one side and release the harness connections". I can't find any locking bar holding the connections. Does anyone know how to remove these wiring connections as to make removal easier? Many thanks.
There are two main connectors - one is likely to be yellow or blue, and will have a black retaining clip in the middle. Lever this outwards (towards the front of the car) and this connector will pull out. The other connector is black, and has a sprung catch on one end that needs to be pressed in, after which the connector swings out.
