Citroen ZX glow plugs are done. It's all a lot simpler if you take the inlet manifold off and get some flex head wrenches for one and four. I reckon number 4 probably never gets changed on most of them being as the car will start fairly happily on 2 or 3...
One job down...

Advice seconded for the same/similar engine in my 306 1.9 Diesel. I used long sockets and normal spanners.
If I were doing it again, I'd undo the 2 Torx bolts holding the EGR to the exhaust manifold and lift the whole caboodle clear with the inlet manifild rather than undoing the clip on the (not very) flexible metal pipe. I damaged the end of the pipe and it made refitting a bit fraught.
I suspect you could get by with a 1/4 inch extension / wobble bar and sockets, but it's not easily doable with 3/8ths stuff on the ZX. Wobbly spanners will come in handy when I get something with an even more convoluted diesel engine...
Sounds like the spark plugs on my T25, the one under the all the intake gubbins looked suspiciously worse than the other 3.
Doki ("Doki" ) gurgled happily, sounding much like they were saying:
Which pump? Some pumps make it a doddle, some a *nightmate*. Plus (non)- turbo, of course.
Bosch IIRC. You could probably do the lot with normal combination spanners if you were very patient.
