Thanks for that. I tried again today, using ScanTool and it worked on both cars. Very strange. I then switched back to Digimoto and also worked. We used to call things like that "finger trouble". Anyways, up and running now.

Glad you are up and going. I found it interesting to see the different info displayed with different software. For example some free applications showed only one fault code P0335. While a couple of others showed those 'pending' i.e P0700 and P1895 as well as the P0335 code.

I wondered about buying Digimoto but in the end opted to try and use the free lite version. I take it the paid for version does not update any quicker ?

Hi, the DigiMoto I tried was quite slow refresh rate - but I think that is due to the 9600 baud interface rather than anything to do with the software.

You're right, Scantool showed up 'pending' codes as well as the main fault code, whereas DigiMoto just showed the fault code - for what I needed Scantool was fine.
