Paint Chips

So, McCain's oven chips are pretty good.

Paint chips aren't quite as nice - I do know a local guy that's done some work for us in the past on a few cars, but I've heard there are mobile "paint chip" specialists. Does anybody have any experience of these, and their effectiveness?

I don't want anything too major done, just a couple of minor chips, arguably not very deep at all. I'll be using one in the Glasgow area, if at all, but national input is appreciated.

I used "Chipsaway" on my car. What colour is your car? The guy who did my car (Silver) told me that silver cars are the worst to do as it is impossible to achieve an invisible repair. Black or dark colours can be repaired so they are almost invisible.

Cost me £70 for the front of the car, bumper/bonnet/front wings.

Silver. Think I'll stick to the local guy, don't mind giving him cash, keeps that wee business-park in business, they rely on word of mouth.
