Does anyone have any idea what else it could be apart from the fuel pump?

Cheers, Kris

Many insurance companies wouldn't agree - a modified car can cost more to insure than a standard one of similar performance.

Then you won't be covered...

Seriously, if you modify a car and don't tell the insurance company of what is obviously a greater risk, they'll take great delight in backing out of any claim. You're cheating on them so they'll 'cheat' on you.
