Sounds easy enough but I just went to halfords and confused myself looking at them all.
Can anyone please reccomend an easily buyable oil that will do the job?

As no-one has answered yet, I will.
Normally I would recommend a decent semi-synthetic for this sort of car but I would check the handbook/service book first.
Fords recommend a 'funny' oil and Renault might too.
