scratch treatments

Hi. Any recommendations for a 'one bottle' or dare I say it, 'Wash & Go' type treatment?

Cheers.

Some here know I have a s**te old Favorit. Since my wife bought a Micra recently I was shamed into cleaning it (the Skoda). I bought a bottle of Tesco colour restorer, a bottle of Tesco car wax, both in blue plastic bottles, and the bloody thing's come up like new! It gleams!

Piece of weewee to use, not like T-Cut, and it works *really* well.

Of course, it will only take fairly light scratches out. If you try it wash the car over and apply the colour restorer with a damp cloth. Wait for it to dry, polish it off, job's a good 'un.

I read somewhere that alcohol can take out light scratches in laquer. Never tried it myself though.

Not a fan of wash and go type treatments there usually pretty auwful

The car has a lacquer finish and the scratches on the bonnet are almost like scuff marks.
