We were talking drag from the tyres. However occasionally when I corner I suspect the aerodynamic drag increases rather dramatically as the back end of the car jumps out :).

Almost all of the increased drag is from the tyres, in order to provide a horizontal force they have to slip slightly which increases drag. It's not particularly analyitically soluble, you end up looking at graphs e.g.
