I've posted in french forum but no answer at this moment.
I've just finished heavy job on my renault megane 1.6e (K7M702 engine), I've changed cylinder head gasket. I've a compression tester and all seems to be ok now
I've just changed the timing belt too. I can start the engine but i have a strange noise sounds like little firecracker when the engine is running. The engine can't run at idle speed. Do you think that's because there is an offset of the timing belt now ? And how find the right offset of the camshaft now ?
