Vauxhall Combo Duel Fuel 1.6

I drive the above vehicle, it is a 2003 plate with 190'000 Miles,

Recently on start up (cold start) there has been a noticeable plume of smoke which has an oily smell which quickly clears.

The engine does use a bit of oil, it will drop form max - min on the dipstick over about 1200miles, but there is nothing new there, it has a small leak from the crank seal which it has had for some time and will be rectified when next cam belt is due. Oil consumption has not increased noticeably.

I am thinking stem seals allowing oil to sneak down into the cylinders over time, and as such is nothing too much to worry about and does not signify the engine is about to expire in a terminal/expensive way, thus it can wait until i have funds and time available to do a bit of a top end overhaul... do we concur? or does the panel think this is something more worrying.
