Last year the aircon sometimes worked sometimes did not.
This year it is dead.
Any ideas what I can check for and where.
How much would a recharge be, if that was the problem ??

Seeing as it was intermittent before, most likely an electrical fault (assuming when it worked, it worked well) this year could be anything.
I expect it to be out of gas, if not low. A trip to a proper a/c specialist is your best bet.

I see Halfords are offering 'Full air con service' for 60 quid, but then again...
*shudder*
My local Volvo dealer is still the cheapest ive found in shropshire at £50 all in for a vac, recharge, and fungicide spray. (all expereince with still working a/c with no leaks)
