A friend is selling his N-reg VW diesel Vento (55k miles on clock), having been disqualified for driving while over the (alcohol) limit.
Are there any known issues with this model? Any approximate valuation?

look up similar models and Bob's your aunty
Autotrader has a few from £500 to silly. Maybe £1300 (with the ?genuine low mileage). DaveK.

I'd estimate between 400 and 750.
Maybe slightly more for a really tidy, well specced turbodiesel.
Thanks for that. I always thought of Autotrader as dealer sales rather than private sales. It seems it's a mix of both.
More on a maintenance issue - "INSP - 2" appears on the mileage display LCD when the car is started. Presumably this is some service interval message and needs resetting?
