Wing for 1998 Fiesta

Jan 02, 2004 2 Replies

Hi there.

I've managed to prang the driver's side wing of my 1998 no-frills Fiesta, including breaking the indicator light cover thingy. (The Bumper's fine, as is the door panel etc.)

Wondering whether I should claim on my insurance or bite the bullet.

Anyone give me any idea of how much it's likely to cost me to get the wing replaced at a) Main Ford Dealer and b) local indepentant ford specialist bloke with small workshop?

Many TIA for all assistance offered to this dufus :o)

Depending on the damage, you might get away with calling someone like Dentmaster.

If you haven't creased the metal or broken the surface of the paintwork, then you _should_ be able to have it pushed or pulled back into shape.

Indicator lens will be available for not too much cash from a Ford Dealer.

Ringv round but that sounds like it comes to less than your excess + 1 years NCB
