My 91A is coming up very soon on 13 years with the stock catalytic converter. The heat shield is very rotted on the bottom and will slide front to back like 1/4 inch. The rattle will almost go away when fully warmed up. Is this time for a whole new cat or is there some sort of a work around for this? The rattle is driving me nuts and I figure the heat from the thing would be dangerous if I pulled the old shield off. Any suggestions??
