What is the Mazda3 5 door's MPG? Just wondering because I couldn't find it on their site. Thanks.

Should be the same as the Ford Focus ZX5...I get 26-27 city, and I haven't been on any road trips yet to check the highway miles.

Check out the Focus group a lot of people comment about gas mileage some good some not so good.

Take the EPA numbers with a grain of salt.

I have a Millenia S, rated for 28/35. I get just over 20 mpg on mostly highway driving. Apparently, once you go over the old double-nickel standard of 55 mph, milage drops significantly on some cars.

i dont see why it would be the same as the focus??

They are built on the same chassis. Same engine HP. Similar weight. Very similar CD. You would think that they were made my the same company? Things that make you go Hummm.

has it (possible as early as '05) is that most of the manufactures whomake this style of car...Ford and Mazda are not the only ones...are going tostart using the Volvo S40 chassis.-- Dan
