Jump Start from E320

Is it safe to provide a jump start to another vehicle from an E320 using the remote posts located in the engine compartment?

I have had to jump my C320 twice so far in the first 12,000 miles. Mercedes did it and then towed it to their shop. They think they have finally found out the cause today.
