I can relate to that! ( but usually I pull back at the brink )!

I think the previous posting rudeness was caused by different people applying different meanings to the same word - socialism - and then due to that difference of opinion, combined with certain civility deficits ( possibly caused by a defective SOCIALIZATION ) we had the regrettable and avoidable rudeness.

I think all concerned should sign up for the McBrue Voices Treatment. I will also sign up to provide moral support but I will require the cannabis option since I do not tolerate alcohol well.

Getting back to the Danish, another possible source of this conflict may be that the only Danish most Americans have any experience with tended to get eaten.

I want an SLR.

your overly verbose posting still doesn't explain that socialism is a form of economics, not government

But it did explain that he wants an SLR, which is infinitely more interesting to me. Why an SLR over a similarly priced Ferrari, or cheaper Viper, or Vette, all of which are REAL sport cars?

We don´t se a lot of those in our streets. But one Enzo Ferrari was sold two days ago - 2,5 mill US dollars.... The gay allready has more than ten Ferraries..

Comparing a Viper to a Ferrari is not right, IMHO.

The viper is a fast cruiser - not a sports car.

(Last sommer a had the experience og seeing af "Ferrari 360 Stradale VS Viper" on a small track with s-curves a small coners. Both on street tyres and with competent drivers) The Viper was miserable compared to the Ferrari. It´s a drifting car. (- but still seductive with it´s wonderfull V10)

It´s more reasonable to compare the SLR to the Viper - talking character. They are both GTs to me - although the SLR i "creme de la creme" of GTs...

(sorry for my spelling and gramma - I don´t have a dictionary near by)

Kind of beside the point but why would a Dane want a PT Cruiser?

Just wondering, cp

yes and this form of economics can be changed with a new government. denmark IS a democracy however, unlike the US which is a DUOCRACY, a country of ignorant voters. When the danes decide they have had enough of their taxes they WILL change their system. a tax on large engined cars should be imposed on this continent as well, we are choking the entire world.

He wouldn´t.. :-)

I just wanted to show you the price of a car, to wich you could probably relate.

It´s a funny looking car that turn heads, since it looks old but isn´t - and since we don´t se many american cars i Denmark.

Besides it can not stand the moist scandinavian climate - rust is spreading within the first two years.

We don´t like that, when we pay so much for our cars. :-)

It doesn´t seem like it.

An SL 500 is 350.000 US dollars in Denmark and that is 65.000 US dollars more than in Singapore.

:-) yeh, I saw one in luxembourg once, talk about out of place (the PT). Still, it was brave of Chrysler to make it, along with all the other throwbacks.

I just completed the Skip Barber racing school in Vipers, and I respectfully beg to differ.

Drifting does not mean "not" racing. The Stradale is a specially prepared vehicle. It is not the stock 360 Modena. If you modify the Viper, you would have a more level playing field. You might be surprised to know that the Viper has almost perfect 50/50 weight balance. I have not driven the Stradale or the Modena, but have been a passenger in the Modena, and I own a Viper. I've also driven the F355. Given the right drivers, I would put the Viper up against the stock Modena.

It would be interesting to have you drive a Viper, and then make your comments again. You might be very, very surprised.

Spell check covers that many times, but I understood you quite clearly.

Hard to argue with that.

Don't they like... start falling apart after ~50K miles?

There really isn't any way to find out. Viper owners are so over meticulous in their care of what is basically a Dodge big bore engine, that no one knows if it would fall apart left to its own devices.
