What power steering fluid would you suggest for a 1987 260E.

i'd use standard ATF Dexron II

same as for trans (if your not into racing...fine ;O ) alex

Alex,thanks for your info. Should I add fluid to the correct level or drain off first n then refill.And what is the right way of doing it.Any advise appreciated,thanks.

MB Power Steering Fluid MB part no. 000 989 88 33, Febi/Bilstein P/S Fluid # 08972, which was approved by 236.6 and 236.7 will be fine as well. Don't use ATF Dextron without approve 236.2, 236.6 or 236.7.
