MGA competition seats

I'm considering replacing the seat covers on my 58 MGA roadster with the "competition deluxe" design. I know that the seat frames for this factory option were different than the standard seat frames (which I have). Has anyone attempted this, and if so, what problems do I face?

Make sure that you use the original anchor points and the seat is still the correct height.

Altering the mounts could lead to problems with registration and insurance.
