Tyres for MGB's

I have been using Pirelli P6, P6000 and P600's on my MGB Tourer for more years than I care to remember. I now have alloy wheels and the 185/60 14" tyres are just what the MG needs.



My questions are:



  1. Does anyone have any comments on Goodyear NCT versus Michelin E3A tyres?


  1. Is there a website which explains on the tyre versions of the major manufacturer's and what they are spec'd for?

I've got 6.5" alloys on my MGB with 185/70R14s at the moment but I'm looking to replace them as there geting a bit old... previous owner didn't drive it hard enough ;-) Pirelli P6000s look like a good choise, how would you rate them incomparison to the others you've tried? Thanks, Toby
