sorry for posting a lot of techie problems recently, i foind the best way of finding out is asking someone who has done the job before;
after changing the speedo cable, found out the drive must not be turning. i have removed the little screw and the plate on top - how do i remove the whole drive as it seems still tight. i cannot see any more screws etc.

It Just pulls straight out once the plate is removed, very technically "jiggle"it round and it will slide out Fitzy
Thanks fitzy, the little bugger's out now, soon to be refitted with the cable attached.
