93 Plymouth Colt rear wheel bearing?

Question

It says Plymouth on it but I'm hoping I picked the right group as it has Mitsubishi written all over it. I am fairly certain that my L rear wheel bearing is bad from the noise it is making. Are the bearings replaceable or do I have to get the whole hub? What is involved in fixing it because I can't seem to find a manual? If I need the hub, can I get one from a junkyard or is it a common enough problem that I'll likely get a bad one? Oh, and it has the Mitsu 1.5L engine if that makes a difference.

Right group.The bearing is integral with the hub, so the whole lot is replaced. Its not a common problem. New non-OEM hubs are about $100, and $160 at the dealer. Go to a junk yard and find a replacement from a 93-95. Make absolutely sure that it rotates smoothly. While you are at the yard, tap the bottom half of the bearing out with a screwdriver and check for corrosion on the race. If it is corroded or the balls are blackened, find another. Don't pay more than $30 for the whole hub.When you get home, pull the races out and clean all the old grease out and repack. You'll need a 27mm socket to get the axle nut off. Then the hub just pull off. Tighten the axle nut back to around 100lbs, or if you have a 12" breaker bar, stand on it.
