Diagnostic Link to Computer

Jul 09, 2004 5 Replies

Hi,

I've got a 1993-94 Mitsubishi Mighty Max pickup truck.

I was wondering if there was a method of connecting my laptop to the car's computer via the DLC, so that I could do some real time diagnostics and such.

Any information will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

That may be an ODB-II connection. I know thru 1991 the interface was Mitsubishi specific.

There are a bunch of Mitsubishi folks there. One doesn't have to have a 4wd to participate.

Not 94. OBD II was 96+ and mitsu only partially used it on 95 Eclipses (new model year, why not?). Look at

Yeah this is close, but I don't have a PDA. I want to use my laptop with to me seems to be a bit more functional than a PDA based system.

Very interesting though. If I could fina a version of this for the PC, it'd be uber!

It's OBD1

Ok is it the Ford, GM, or Chrysler model I need for my Mitsubishi MightyMax?
