galant radio code

i purchessed a 2000 galant recently replaced th battery and now tyhe radio does not work the owners manual talks about a code but their is nothing telling me were to find this code

Its a 4 digit number that is printed on a card. The code came with the radio when it was new, So the 1st owner had the code ,and has sold the car without passing it on to the buyer. Find out which dealer sold the car when new, Sometimes they will have a record on file of it.

If you still need help , you have to contact a mitsibishi dealer in order to retrieve the code . I bought my 2001 galant new , and they give you 2 cards with the code on each . The person you bought the car from should have given them to you . A dealer can help you with the vin # .

Aren't anti theft codes great?

The dealer should be able to get you the code off the VIN number
