I have a 92 3000 GT SL and the engine control module is burnt up. Does anybody know whether the ECM from a Mitsubishi Lancer (except Evolution VIII). Any information greatly appreciated.

No it won't. You need the ECU that goes with the engine type. That said, an ECU from other Mitsu vehicles with the same age V6 might (MIGHT) do.
