I've been asked about finding a 7" or 8" touch screen for an in car PC. He doesn't want to import one though and has been looking at the Xenarc 700TSV, I know a few of you have in car setups so thought this would be a good place to start.

First one's site appears to be down (unusual), but I have bought from them. Haven't got a clue about the second.
It isn't strictly importing because CarTFT are EU based, no extra duty to pay. If you cut up the cases and make a foop of it, they can supply new casing pretty cheap. And they get back really when you email questions. they are really popular in the carPC European community. Also, they will soon have VGA indash motorised touchscreen monitors, with FM tuners, so that is one element the PC won't have to do.

Thanks Carl, I've passed on the links (though I now want one again).
I'm leaving the CarPC for now. But when that one with the radio and AUX in becmes available, I might rethink.
The MP3 headunit I've got in now does OK, but the CarPC will happen again.
