my mate knows where you can get the rally style mud flaps, come in different colours even clear! he's giving me the link tomz which i shall bung in this thread when i get it ;)

You can get universal ones in loads of places. Probably around a tenner for a pair.

For example (a bit more than i said, but it took about 30secs to find)

Yep, thems the kind. Interstingly, there is a DP Motorsport in Warrington too, and by a lot of reckoning he's s*it too, unless you like your evo blowing up a day after mapping.

and they are only the 2mm thick floppy ones was looking for the slightly thicker ones.

Why? Are you actually planning on doing some rallying/off roading?

I just want more chance of them staying where they are put, and not flopping back when driving and letting the s*it spray everywhere.

here you go mate, can get 2mm 3mm and 4mm thick.

Nice. Shall investigate. And they are even in the North. Super, cheers fella.

Will drop them an email and see what they say.

LOL, a heavy 2 litre turbo, four wheel drive, and popup headlights mullers your fuel economy, the mud flaps will do very little.

you ever poped the headlights up at 100mph? it feels like you've just lobbed a parachute out the back :) how you doing on the old MPG wasn't getting that good last time you mentioned it hehe

still the same, between 21 and 23, depending on how many short journeys I do, and night journeys with the lights up.

i average 23-24mpg a lot and more if the trip is longer for some reason, guess that aint bad taking in the fact you have 4wd

True, but the "official" MPG figures are something like 25-34. I did get a 30mpg once when I did a few brisk 180 miles of motorway.

Haven't done a decent long run since I changed the Lambda and the stat, so I don't know what it is getting now. Must get out on a decent llong run. maybe an Elvington event or something similar.
